About this pastoral study project

My project will be focused on understanding the different problems that the immigrant community faces as a result of the complex journey to this country. This migration involves a vast number of drastic changes, such as: the abandonment of their land, culture and family. In addition, there is a simultaneous number of dangers they face, such as: sexual abuse, assaults, extortion, drug cartels, etc. Also, this journey brings new challenges, such as: a new culture, language, system, etc. Lastly, I will analyze what those dynamics mean for pastoral ministry and how we can create new pastoral models to heal the trauma, violence, and injustices that immigrants suffer due to these extreme alterations in their lives.
