Does male dominance of pulpits in Asian American and Latino/a churches perpetuate the masculinization of Christian faith and life? We believe it does, and that its perpetuation distorts the gospel message. Fidelity to the gospel and the fullness of the body of Christ require that churches be provided with resources to unmask patriarchal hermeneutics and to implement gender inclusivity in Asian American and Latino/a pulpits.
