About this pastoral study project

In December of 2017 I founded Argrow’s House of Healing and Hope. Argrow's House is a safe space where free holistic services are offered daily for women healing from violence. Argrow's House is also a bath and body social enterprise that employs women survivors of violence. In the midst of COVID-19, we have started virtual domestic violence support groups, a bi-weekly feeding program, therapeutic horseback riding, and more. The Argrow’s House social enterprise continues with launches of seasonal product lines, face masks, hand sanitizer, and the Argrow’s House Hope Subscription Box.

Life is precious and the ministry work that we lead in the world is precious. This project seeks to establish a manual for the work that has been created with Argrow's House. Our recipes, human resource manuals, procedures, polices, branding, marketing, and the holistic care program can be implemented in other locations around the world. We are based in Davenport, Iowa. However, I would like to go back to my home state in Chapel Hill, NC and partner with another faith based organization to create an Argrow's House social enterprise program for the women survivors of violence served in Chapel Hill, NC.

As I move forward with doing the groundwork of partnering in creating an Argrow’s House in Chapel Hill, NC, I will continue to nurture mentor/mentee relationships with leading social enterprise founders from around the world. Christian leaders that I have been in conversation with that understand best practices, protocol, structure, as well as the theological implications for founding, expansion, and growth of Christian social enterprise grounded in an ethic of Jesus centered justice and love.

My ultimate goal is to create a detailed manual for building a Christian Social Enterprise. At the end of this project I hope to publish a book entitled: Argrow's House: Building and Sustaining a Christian Social Enterprise.
