About this pastoral study project

Our research will begin with a comprehensive survey of current female-identifying, Catholic students and recent alumnae from seminaries as well as colleges and universities granting ministry degrees. This unique survey will balance statistics of Catholic women in higher education with reflections on the academic, professional, and spiritual paths available to Catholic women, and the choices they face in navigating faith, denominational identity, and vocation. We will follow up our survey with a series of video interviews from a representative subset of respondents.

The project will culminate with published survey results as well as a new collection of liturgical and prayer resources for women discerning sacramental roles in the Church, and for the Church that craves their witness.
