About this pastoral study project

Wesleyan class meetings called Kitchen Tables are the heartbeat of our discipleship formation process. New people join Kitchen Tables by completing a six-week series taught by our pastors and rooted in Kevin Watson’s A Blueprint for Discipleship. Blueprint has been invaluable to our growth, yet the audience seems to be older and churched. We feel uniquely positioned, having led over 200 people through Blueprint, to develop a new and more contextually relevant resource for the diverse younger people who continue to find their way to The Table.

Our Co-Pastors will take time away from the daily rhythms of ministry to study the method in Methodism and reflect on how this might be best communicated in our ministry with younger adults. This study will result in the creation of print materials, videos, and a website aimed to form a new generation in Wesleyan ways of practicing faith.
